"Bob" The Scrambler Project - Part II
- by wnyjpgy
So I have made some more progress on Bob. I recently picked up the 36's from Dave and mounted them on my Aluminium wheels, I still hope to have them on beadlocks by the spring. The frame is cleaned up and rattle canned to keep it from rusting right now. It has also been shortened 14 inches.

The rocker panels and cab floor have been removed. They are ready for some square tubing to be installed and the boat side fab to start. I made spring perches and shackles so the rear axle is in (mocked up at least) at it's proper position so you will be able to get an idea of the ride height. The body has been "bobbed" 14 inches and the quarter panels have been cut for clearance.
The next items on my list are:
- Getting the front outboard spring perches fabbed and installed so the whole jeep is sitting at the ride height.
- Finish up the boat sides and cab floor with enough clearance to run my removable flat skid.
